February 2026 Release Notes

Summary

This release is designed to make your transition from ACD5 to Catina smooth, with improved Pay Application continuity, simplified Change Order experience, and easier document reuse, and address book management. You’ll also experience faster workflows, with noticeable performance improvements across Projects and Documents. Explore the details below.

Pay Application Enhancements

Continuing a Pay Application that originated in ACD5 in Catina is now seamless. Key details from your ACD5 pay app, including owner information, values, and retainage, automatically carry forward to next month’s pay app using intelligent document recognition. These improvements reduce manual re-entry and ensure accuracy across continued payment calculations. This applies to all variations of Pay Applications and Continuation Sheets.

Change Orders

Change Orders are now more flexible, with an editable Contract Sum field that lets you easily increase, decrease, or maintain values as needed. Your selection will flow to downstream calculations to ensure accuracy.

Copy Functionality

The new Save As option lets you quickly create copies of existing documents to jump-start new ones, with the ability to include or exclude variables as needed. This makes it easy to create consistent document variations while keeping core project information aligned. For example, a General Contractor can quickly create variations of the A401 for all project subcontractors. Note: Pay Applications are excluded.

Use Migrated or External PDF Files in a Project Manual

You can now include finalized, migrated, or external PDF files when creating a Project Manual, making it easy to combine documents from Catina, ACD5, or offline sources into a single, polished deliverable. This creates a seamless experience for anyone reviewing your final file.

Address Book Management

Company and Contact Archiving

Address Book management is now easier, with improved cleanup tools that help keep your data organized. Archiving a company automatically archives all associated contacts, and restoring a contact will also restore its parent company.

Location Selection

Address selection is now clearer when generating documents for organizations with multiple offices or locations. Full organization addresses are displayed beneath each name to help you confidently choose the correct location.
Enjoy Faster Performance

Projects and documents now load in under two seconds thanks to behind-the-scenes performance improvements. You’ll notice quicker search results, smoother navigation, and a more responsive experience overall.

Additional G-Series Forms Available for Offline Use

You can now download additional G-Series forms from Catina for offline use and easily upload them back into Catina to maintain continuity.
