Released on 10/15/2025, this update introduces a new “Set Retainage” button and checkbox column in the G703 Pay Application. This enhancement allows users to quickly select multiple line items and apply a retainage percentage in bulk. The new functionality streamlines data entry, saves time on large projects, and ensures consistent retainage across all selected rows.
Select Rows – Click the checkbox next to each row you want to update. This enables the retainage functionality for the selected row(s).e for the selected row(s)
2. Set Retainage – Click the Set Retainage button. Enter the desired percentage in the modal, then click Apply to save and apply the retainage to all selected rows.

Helpful hint: If you are using fixed retainage and choose to edit offline, please note that currently the retainage will not pull in when you import your document based on how the documents function. Our product team is evaluating future improvements to this feature, but in the meantime you can quickly apply your retainage to the rows after importing using the steps above

1. Can I apply retainage to multiple rows at once?
Yes. Using the new checkbox column, you can select multiple rows and apply the same retainage percentage in bulk with the Set Retainage button.
2. What happens if I enter the wrong percentage?
You can simply reselect the rows and use the Set Retainage button again to update the percentage. The new value will overwrite the previous retainage.
3. Does this feature work for all line items in a G703 pay application?
Yes. Any line items displayed in the G703 pay application can be selected and updated using this feature.
4. Can I undo the retainage after applying it?
Yes. You can either manually adjust the retainage percentage for individual rows or use the Set Retainage button to apply a new percentage to overwrite the previous value.
