Summary
This guide walks you through how to migrate your projects into Catina. It covers key steps, what to expect if you have a large project, and what to do if drafts don’t show up right away. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth transition.
How Do I Migrate My Drafts?
1. Navigate to Catina to view your available ACD5 projects eligible for migration.
2. After clicking “Migrated Projects,” you’ll see a table with four columns:
ACD Name (Project Name)
Migrated Attempts
Migrated By
Last Migrated
3. Click on the three dots (⋯) next to the project you wish to import into Catina and select Migrate Project (or you can put a check box beside the name of the project and select Migrate Selected)
4. You will be prompted to confirm before the migration begins.
If a project was already migrated and changes occurred in ACD5, you can remigrate the project and Catina will make a copy for you within the Online Service. You can view the Migration Attempts to keep track of how many times a project has been migrated.
5. After confirming the migration, click Continue to proceed. The system will begin migrating your Project (with drafts) into Catina. If a project was already migrated, you may see a Re-Migrate option instead.
6. You will see a notification down at the bottom letting you know it was successful (or failed).
Important Note for Large Projects
For large projects with many drafts, there may be a short delay before all drafts appear. You may be able to access the project, but not immediately see the migrated content.
If this occurs, please wait a few moments and refresh the page—the system is still processing your drafts in the background.
FAQ
I migrated my project, but my drafts aren't showing up. Why?
If your project contains a large number of drafts or your drafts are heavily edited, it may take some time for the system to process everything. If your drafts aren't visible right away, please be patient and try refreshing your page after a moment. Thank you for your understanding!
Within Catina, can I move drafts into a previously migrated project?
Not yet. Adding drafts to an already migrated project isn't supported today, but it's on our roadmap.
Why does migration create multiple copies of my project? Each migration pulls the latest version from ACD5, creating a new copy in Catina. If you're migrating frequently, it's best to transition your workflow entirely into Catina to avoid duplicate copies.
How Many Projects Can I Migrate at Once?
You may migrate up to five projects at a time. Once those are submitted, you can begin selecting your next set immediately.
