Custom Templates Created Offline
Custom templates that were created offline display a Microsoft Word icon. These templates can be downloaded and edited offline as needed.

How to Import a Custom Template
- Option 1
- Click on Templates > Custom Templates
- Select Import Custom Template
- Upload the document by dragging and dropping the file or browse to locate the desired file within your computer. (You can import both Catina and ACD5 Documents). Please note that PDF’s are not supported at this time
- Select Next to complete the process.
- You will have the option to rename your template if needed
- Select Continue
- You template will now be available in Custom Templates
- Option2
- Click on + New
- Select Import Custom Template
- Upload the document by dragging and dropping the file or browse to locate the desired file within your computer. (You can import both Catina and ACD5 Documents). Please note that PDF’s are not supported at this time
- Select Next to complete the process.
- You will have the option to rename your template if needed
- Select Continue
- You template will now be available in Custom Templates
Importing a Custom Template
When you import a custom template, it is added to your template repository. This allows you to:
Download the template
Edit it offline
Reuse it as needed
Imported templates are also available to team members who have access to your Catina license.
Editing Limitations for Imported Templates
Imported custom templates cannot be edited in the Catina online editor. The Import Custom Template feature supports offline use only.
Editing Templates in the Catina Online Editor
If you need to edit a template in the Catina online editor, the template must be created directly in Catina. Templates created in Catina are fully editable online.
