Summary
Within Catina, you can combine multiple project documents into a single PDF file by creating a project manual. These can be documents within Catina (in either a finalized or completed state) or non software-generated PDF files (such as cover letters or attachments).
To create a project manual:
- Click the Projects Tab
- Select a project from the projects list
- Select Project Manuals to create new project manuals or select from previously created ones.
- Click + New Project Manual to start a new project manual.
- Name your project manual and click create.
- This will open the project manual feature, allowing you to select any finalized or completed Catina documents or upload PDF files from your own device.
- On the left-hand side you can filter through your project’s documents, allowing you to quickly find a specific document. To add a document, hover over the document and click the red select button.
- To upload a PDF document from your own device, click the Upload Files button. Drop your files or browse your computer to select any necessary documents, then click upload.
- To reorder your files, click on the dots to drag to desired position. You can also hover over the document to click the move up or move down arrow.

- When ready, click the configure signatures button to see a preview of your final PDF and set up signature options.
- There are two signature options available with project manual, ink signature and no signature.
- No signature - This will combine the documents into one PDF without adding an additional signature page to the end. Just toggle on this selection and click Complete. Here you can download your project manual or revert to draft if you need to make any additional changes.
- Ink Signature - This will combine the documents into one PDF and generate a signature page at the end of of the document. Enter in the role and name of each signer (adding additional as needed) then click send request. This will take you to the awaiting upload page, where you can download your unsigned version, revert to draft if needed, or upload an ink signed version to complete the process.
