1. Enable Offline Editing

  1. Open your document in Catina.

  2. Click the Offline Editing icon.

  2. Your document will download as a Microsoft Word file.

     

      3. Once downloaded, you will switch to the offline editing workflow.

Important: Once you choose offline editing, you cannot revert to the online editor.

2. Edit Your Document Offline

  • Use Microsoft Word to make necessary edits.

  • Utilize your organization's sharing tools, such as shared drives or email, for collaboration.

  • Make all required edits and contract negotiations with respective parties.

 

3. Upload Your Edited Document Back to Catina

  1. Once all parties have agreed to the document terms, return to Catina.

  2. Navigate to your document.

  3. Upload the updated Microsoft Word file back into the online service for finalization.

 

4. Configure Signatures and Finalize Your Document

  • Configure signatures inside the Signing Options section.

  2. Upload the new version from your computer back into Catina.

When you upload your edited document back to Catina, any changes made offline will be incorporated. You can continue tracking additions or deletions in the Online Editor’s Track Changes Bar after uploading.

3. Template ID does not match" Error When Uploading a Document

This error occurs when the Template ID used in the document does not match the expected ID in the system. The Template ID links the document to a specific template, and if there’s a mismatch, the upload will fail.
