For single-use documents, you have two editing options based on document type:

Administrative Forms

If purchasing an administrative form, you can edit your document directly within our online
service.

1. Select the document title to open and edit it directly in the online editor.
2. When done editing click save
3. You will be prompted to add the document to an existing project or create a new
project.
4. Once you have selected a project, you can rename your document then click save.
5. You can continue to edit this document as needed by accessing it from your
project tab.
6. When ready to finalize, click the Generate Final button within the editor screen.
This will generate a download of a final PDF version of your document to your
computer.
7. IMPORTANT: For single-document purchases, finalization is limited to one time
only. You may create, edit, and save a working draft before finalizing it.

Agreements

If purchasing an agreement that required detailed edits, we recommend editing the
document offline within Microsoft Word. (Note: This is what your default settings are set to
but can be adjusted anytime).

1. Select the document title to download the document. This will trigger a Microsoft
Word file to download to your computer.
2. From here you can edit your document within your own computer utilizing any
Microsoft Word editing features. You can share, email, and edit as much as you
need.
3. When you are ready to finalize, you will log back into the ACD5 Online Service to
import the document back into the platform.
4. Once logged in, click the gray Import File button on your homepage.
5. If you have not previously created a project, select the gray Create New Project
button, name your project, then click save.
6. Once your project is selected click import to select the document within your
computer, then click the red import button to upload your document.
7. We highly recommend running a variance check prior to finalization to see a preview
of your final pdf. To do this, click on the three dots next to your document name and
click check variances. This will generate a draft pdf allowing you to preview and
check over your document prior to finalization.
8. To remove the draft watermark and finalize your document, click the finalize button
next to your document.
9. IMPORTANT: For single-document purchases, finalization is limited to one time
only. You may create, edit, and save a working draft before finalizing it
10. Select your finalizing options, then click Ok.
11. This will trigger a PDF version of your document to download to your computer. A
copy will be accessible on the online service for future reference as needed.

This process will provide you with a completed, finalized PDF of your document. Please let
us know if you have any questions or need further assistance.
