 Release Retainage on the Final Payment Application 


Learn how to release retainage on a final payment application in Catina by setting the retainage percentages on G702 Lines 5a and 5b to 0%. This article walks through the steps to complete the process successfully.

When submitting a final payment application, you may need to release all retainage. In Catina, this can be accomplished by updating the retainage values on the G702 Application and Certificate for Payment.

Steps
  1. Open the G702 Application and Certificate for Payment.
  2. Locate Line 5a – Retainage.
  3. Change the retainage percentage to 0%.
  4. Locate Line 5b – Retainage.
  5. Change the retainage percentage to 0%.
  6. Save your changes.

Setting Lines 5a and 5b to 0% releases the retainage on the final payment application.
