How to Migrate Custom Templates from ACD5

Summary 

AIA Contract Documents is excited to announce the ability to migrate online ACD5 custom templates into the new Catina Platform. This includes templates that were created within the ACD5 online service or Word Documents that were downloaded from the previous platform. This article outlines the steps to migrate these templates over. 

Here are the quick and easy steps:

  1. Click on Templates tab from the left-hand navigation bar.  Picture1.png   
  2. Select the Migrate Templates from ACD5 tab. Here you will see all your ACD5 custom templates with any relevant document information.Picture2.png
  3. To migrate a specific document, click the migrate button under the status column.  A confirmation notice will pop up, allowing you to confirm your template selection. When ready, click migrate to trigger the migration process.Picture3.png
  4. You may see a loading bar next to the template while the transfer takes place depending on document size.
  5. Once complete, you will see notification saying the template has been migrated and is ready to use.
  6. To view the template within Catina, simply click the My Templates tab and select your custom template to open within the Document Editor.

You can use any custom template within a project by selecting the Custom Template tab within the document selection tool.

1. How do I migrate my custom templates from ACD5 to Catina?
