Synopsis.
AIA Document G728-2024, Request for Evidence of Owner’s Financial Arrangements, is used by the Contractor to request that the Owner provide proof that the Owner has made sufficient financial arrangements to meet its obligations under the Contract. The form allows for the Contractor to indicate the timing of the request, and, if applicable, the basis for the request being made.

Completing G728-2024.
Timing of Request. Select the checkbox indicating whether the request is being made either prior to or after Work on the Project has commenced. If the request is being made prior to commencing Work on the Project, the Contractor should skip Section 3. If the request is being made after Work has commenced on the Project, the Contractor needs to complete Section 3.
Basis for Request. If the request is being made after Work has commenced on the Project, select one or more of the checkboxes to indicate the circumstance which is the basis for the request.
Notarization. Select either “yes” or “no” to indicate whether the Contractor is requesting the Owner’s response to be notarized or not.
Executing the document.
The Contractor should execute the document once it is completed and prior to sending the request to the Owner.
Notes.
Modifications. Particularly with respect to professional or contractor licensing laws, building codes, taxes, monetary and interest charges, arbitration, indemnification, format and font size, AIA Contract Documents may require modification to comply with state or local laws.
