AIA Contract Documents does not offer a short form for subcontractor agreements or a dedicated sub-subcontractor agreement. However, A401™–2017 can be adapted for use with lower-tier subcontractors. Similarly, while there is no subcontractor-specific performance bond, A312™–2010 Performance Bond and Payment Bond may be used for this purpose.

No, AIA Contract Documents does not publish a Subcontractor/Sub-subcontractor agreement. However, A401™–2017, Standard Form of Agreement Between Contractor and Subcontractor may be adapted for this purpose.

 

Is there a form of bond to guarantee the performance of a Subcontractor or material supplier?

No, AIA Contract Documents does not publish a Subcontractor’s performance bond form. However, AIA Document A312™–2010, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond may be adapted for this purpose.
