Transitioning Pay Applications from ACD5 to Catina: A Step-by-Step Guide

Downloading Pay Application Data from ACD5

  1. Log into ACD5
  2. Click on your project
  3. Open up the last G703.
  4. On the left-hand side, click download draft. This will trigger an excel version of your document to download to your computer. We will use this to pull into Catina.

Creating and Editing Pay Applications in Catina

  1. Now, log into Catina
  2. Select the Projects tab
  3. Create a new project or select an existing project
  4. Click +New Document
  5. Select the G702 Application and Certificate for Payment and click Configure
  6. Name your document, add your project team as applicable, set your pay period date, and retention settings, and click create document.
  7. To bring the data over from ACD5, we will need to take this document offline into excel to edit.
  8. Click Bulk Actions and select Export Excel File. This will download an excel version of the file.
  9. Using the data from the latest ACD5 Pay app, you can copy and paste the relative fields into the correct spots in the new excel document. PLEASE NOTE: The percentage field is in a different spot in Catina, so pay close attention to column headers when copying over.
  10. When done, you can make any additional edits or changes to be represented on the pay app, then bring back into Catina to continue the editing process.
  11. To upload back on, click your Projects tab, click the project you are working under, and select the G702 you previously created.
  12. Once the editor is open, click Bulk Actions and select Import Excel File.
  13. Select or drag and drop your excel document and click Upload.
  14. Here you can continue editing your line items or edit your G702 within the document editor.
