Enhanced User Interface for Template Migration
The "Migrate Templates From ACD5" screen now includes intuitive buttons and status indicators to streamline the migration process:
- Migrate: Starts the transformation of the selected ACD5 Custom Template into Catina.
- Failed: Highlights templates with migration issues. Users can retry the migration process directly or access additional support details.
- Unavailable: Informs users when certain document types are not eligible for migration, ensuring clarity and minimizing confusion.
Improved Migration Workflow and User Feedback Mechanisms
1. Confirmation Modal
To ensure users are migrating the correct template, a confirmation modal has been introduced:
- Details Displayed: Template name and author information are shown for clarity.
- Post-Migration Actions: Upon successful migration, the file is automatically moved to the "My Templates" tab, with a confirmation message displayed.
2. Success Notifications
After a successful migration, users receive:
- A notification confirming the migration's success.
- Instructions to test the migrated template’s accuracy before further processing.
- Information about the document’s new location in the "My Templates" tab.
3. Failed Migration and Retry
When a migration fails:
- Users can click the "Failed" status icon to retry the process.
- A detailed "Migration Failed" modal provides information on the error and prompts users to contact Customer Support if necessary.
4. Unavailable Button and Modal
For documents not eligible for migration:
- An Unavailable status button is displayed, with a modal providing additional details.
- Offline Documents (e.g., DocX) are currently excluded from migration eligibility during this release phase.
- Users are encouraged to check back later or contact Customer Support for more information.
